Are there toilets on the trail?Sandringham
Toilets (including accessible toilets) are situated in the Courtyard area at Sandringham, just prior to the start of the trail and can be accessed again at the end of the trail.
Do you offer free carer or an access ticket?Sandringham
We no longer offer free tickets specifically for carers.
Instead, the free ticket is provided to the person who requires assistance. This is an Access Ticket.
This ensures that guests with access needs can attend our events without financial barriers.
I need support to attend — what ticket should I book?
NB - Please order your other tickets then ask for the access ticket, quoting the order number you have so we can add it to that order for you.
If you require assistance to attend, you can request a complimentary accessible ticket for yourself - an 'Access Ticket'.
Please email info@luminate.live with the parties order number - so get them to order the tickets they need and send this order number along with your evidence of eligibility. We will then add the access ticket to the order.
Only available with at least one paying, full price ticket.
If you are attending with a companion or carer, they should purchase a standard ticket unless otherwise stated.

What provision do you make for guests with mobility restrictions?Sandringham
The trail has been created to be as accessible as possible within the context of the natural site of Sandringham Country Park. All of the route is outside and not under cover. The route is all based across paths, however, please note that some of the paths are loose bark/chippings, which may be tricky to traverse in adverse weather. Whilst care has been taken to remove all known trip hazards, the trail does take place in a country park, so may have stones/leaves/twigs etc, across the path. There will be some sections where cabling crosses the trail, these will be covered by cable ramp covers.
Accessible toilets are situated at the Courtyard.
If extreme weather conditions mean that the trail is not fully accessible for people using wheeled mobility aids (bearing in mind the general limitations as set out above), consideration will be made on a case by case basis to allow tickets to be transferred to an alternative date when the ground conditions are more suitable.
We want everybody who attends Luminate to have a wonderful experience with us and our stewards on the night will all be happy to assist you wherever possible. If you need any assistance on the night, please just ask.
If you have any further questions about access that are not covered by the above, please contact us via email on access@luminatesandringham.com
Can I bring my mobility scooter or can mobility aids be provided?Sandringham
You are welcome to bring your own mobility scooter. Unfortunately, we don't have any available to hire.

Are there toilets on the trail?Margam
You'll find toilets conveniently located in the car park at the trail's beginning, about a quarter of the way along, and at the café courtyard around three-quarters in. Both the car park and café courtyard facilities include accessible toilets for your convenience. 😊

What provision do you make for guests with mobility restrictions?Margam
The trail has been created to be as accessible as possible within the context of the natural site of Margam Country Park and Castle. Please note that the overall site at Luminate Margam covers some steep gradients, so regrettably the trail does involve some unavoidable steep inclines/declines, which unfortunately some guests using wheelchairs/mobility aids may find very difficult. If a member of your party wishes to visit in advance (either in the daytime or on a separate night) to assess this, prior to your scheduled trip, please contact margam@luminate.live and we can happily facilitate this.
All of the route is outside and not under cover. Following the completion of the bottom section of the trail, the trail proceeds up a steep section of the Orangery gardens. If you are familiar with the site, this is up the usual site path which crosses the waterfall bridge and continues straight up towards the Castle Car park. This section is over permanent paths, but they are a softer standing path and may be difficult to traverse during/after inclement weather. After the catering area/fire pits, the trail proceeds down the permanent path in front of the wide Castle steps and towards the blue orangery gates. Stewards are located throughout the trail, should you need assistance at all during your visit please just ask one of our stewards. If you need any further information prior to your visit, please contact us on access@luminate.live.
Whilst care has been taken to remove all known trip hazards, the trail does take place in a country park, so may have stones/leaves/twigs etc, across the path. There will be some sections where cabling crosses the trail, these will be covered by cable ramp covers.
Accessible toilets are situated at the Car-Park and at the Castle Courtyard (approximately 0.7 miles into the trail).
If extreme weather conditions mean that the trail is not fully accessible for people using wheeled mobility aids (bearing in mind the general limitations as set out above), consideration will be made on a case by case basis to allow tickets to be transferred to an alternative date when the ground conditions are more suitable.
Please note that Waterfall Bridge is wide enough to fit a standard wheelchair (and/or standard single pram). If your wheelchair/mobility aid is wider than standard, please contact us so that we can advise further as to suitability.

Can I bring my mobility scooter or can mobility aids be provided?Ashton Court
Regrettably we do not have any wheelchairs/mobility scooters available on site to hire.
For those with mobility issues/elderly guests, the trail may be quite challenging. We strongly recommend bringing along your own mobility aids if you have any concerns as to whether a member of your party will be able to complete the trail.
Please note that there are some inclines/declines and certain sections of the trail which proceed along gravel/chipping path, which may be difficult for those using mobility aids. The trail has been created to be as accessible as possible within the context of the natural site of Ashton Country Park. All of the route is outside and not under cover. Whilst care has been taken to remove all known trip hazards, the trail does take place in a country park, so may have stones/leaves/twigs etc, across the path and unavoidable cables which cross the path will have ramp covers over them. There are three sections that proceed down steps, but our stewards are on hand to show you the step free route. If you need any help on the night, please just ask a member of our friendly team.
Please note that the car park (including disabled parking) is located approximately 300m away from the start and end point of the trail and that the trail itself is circa 1.6km long.
All of the route is outside and not under cover and it is all on woodland paths, which will be muddy and uneven in places

Cosy up by our fire pit and enjoy toasting marshmallows (bring your own or buy them on-site!). Enjoy delicious food and drinks from our kiosk halfway through.
Remember, it’s an outdoor adventure during winter nights, so it can get chilly, dark, and sometimes wet. Bundle up and wear sturdy shoes!
Keep in mind, Luminate doesn't feature traditional festive decorations or Father Christmas—he's busy up at the North Pole preparing for the big day!
Where can I buy tickets from?
All tickets must be pre-booked online in advance through our website.
Please - CLICK HERE for tickets.
Please remember tickets are only available directly through our website, and a limited number available through lovetovisit.com. We do not sell through any other 3rd party websites.

What are Dog Allowed Nights?
We're thrilled to announce that, due to popular demand, Luminate is once again opening its doors to our furry friends on a limited number of special nights! Dogs will be welcome to join their two legged friends on more dates for 2025. Look for the dog symbol on the calendar.
These are the only dates when dogs are permitted. We want to make sure everyone has a great time, so please follow these simple rules:
• Each dog must have a responsible adult to supervise and control them at all times— maximum of two dogs per adult, please!
• Just like our two-legged guests, dogs need to stick to the marked footpath.
• Keep your pup on a short lead—no extendable leads, please.
• Never leave your dog unattended.
• If a dog shows aggressive behaviour towards people or fellow dogs, they won’t be able to join the trail.
Luminate reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any misbehaving or disruptive dogs to leave for the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
And, of course, please clean up after your pet using the bins provided. 💩
Remember, Luminate is a vibrant, magical place with flashing lights, smoke effects, and lots of music and people. If your dog might feel uneasy, distressed, or act aggressively in this environment, it’s best to leave them at home.
Thank you for being responsible dog owners and helping us to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone!
*** XL BULLY DOGS** We do not allow XL Bully Dogs and/or banned/dangerous breed dogs at Luminate. Entry will be denied to any person attempting to bring those breeds on site.
